【給孩子一個機會,給自己一個機會】
In my dictionary, no child is bad, stupid or lousy.
However, problems should always be rectified early, when they are young and more impressionable.
Least they inevitably wreck their adult lives, over something that the parent could have solved with the right guidance.
Lydia came for my workshop: Feng Shui for Happy, Healthy and Confident Children, on 16 August 2017. Before she came, she told her daughter that she was attending my workshop (her first Feng Shui workshop ever), to find out what else she can do to help the child.
I heard, it was with the child's "blessing" that Lydia attended. 😄
The child didn't object to her mother's decision.
I'm unsure if the young lady knows what Feng Shui is. Perhaps it's the thought that her mother cared enough to do something radical, by Lydia's standard, for her that mattered.
Lydia's daughter was getting unstable scores of 50-60+ in Maths and Science. Just back in March, she failed her Maths.
Emotion management was another headache. The child would get angry over minor issues and cry for the entire hour.
Today, Lydia sent me these messages and gave me the kind permission to share them with you, helping more parents like herself.
These are achievements that Lydia and her child should be proud of. 👏👏👏
Every testimonial I receive, I will show it to my Shifu. To thank him for teaching me such great ancient wisdom and skills.
I told my participants that my customised Feng Shui solutions, given during workshops, only account for 50-60% of what should be done.
The other portion is dependent on the directions and other external formations, which require an on-site visit that I do for my Feng Shui clients.
Yet even with only one portion done, positive results have ALWAYS shown up, as you can read from my testimonials.
Don't, not even for a second, think that Lydia is a superstitious or gullible lady.
When I took a photo with Lydia after my workshop, I told her, "You are not a person that trusts others easily. So thank you for coming to my workshop."
That was my first time speaking to her. I don't remember her liking or commenting on any of my posts before my workshop.
I spoke to Lydia for another 20 minutes or so after everyone left, further clarifying. It was her first time learning such in-depth Feng Shui knowledge. I knew she wasn't sure how much of my advice she should follow.
It is my job to explain why she should.
While I can go on and on and on, about why everyone should get their Bazi read and home Feng Shui audited (by the right practitioner), at the end of the day, you make your own decisions.
Sometimes, we get so used to life's problems and sufferings that we normalise it.
More than once, I see people resigned themselves to "隨緣吧" (let Fate decides).
I say, we can only say that if we have indeed put in our best effort, exhaust all logical options and will accept whatever that comes.
努力拼過了,得不得到,隨緣,都接受。
No matter what our children grow up to be, we need the peace of mind, that we have fought REALLY HARD to make our homes the best possible place for our children.
That's the 🔥🌶 chili padi spirit 🌶🔥 we want our children 👨👩👧👦 to emulate.
Most importantly, we want our (sometimes silly sometimes annoying mostly lovable) kids to see from our actions,
"Daddy and Mummy really really really love me very much. I am so blessed." ❤️
